'Koberon' by Allan and Iryna Ewart

Logline:

An alien science prodigy with the blueprint for a time machine teams up with an orphan girl to reverse the death of her parents and save his planet from a black hole.

Synopsis:

As a Science Fiction, Koberon is in the vein of Star Wars, Back to the Future and Twelve Monkeys, with elements of humour. Fifty light years from Earth, a black hole is sucking the planet Koberon into its magnetic field. Forced to flee in desperation, time is running out for the Koberonians, and our protagonist science prodigy: Abayomi. Koberon's only hope is Abayomi's friend and mentor: the genius Clementor, who has developed a blueprint for a Time Machine.
 
The evil tyrant: Devak forces Clementor to relinquish the blueprint and then kills him. Abayomi recaptures the blueprint from Devak and escapes from Koberon with Devak in pursuit. Soon after Abayomi’s arrival on Earth, he becomes friends with Tori: a ten-year-old orphan who lost her parents in a car accident.

Tori’s Guardian Angel: Ariel appears as an apparition, and guides Tori to help Abayomi build the Time Machine. If Abayomi succeeds, Clementor has a chance to steer Koberon away from the black hole. If he fails, it would render him powerless to help Tori go back in time to save her parents.
